What I can build for you
I work across the whole product lifecycle: from deciding how the data is modelled to leaving the application running in production. These are the four areas most of my projects fall into.
I'm Edney Hernández and I've spent 9+ years building web and mobile applications end to end. I'm based in Belgrade and work both with Serbian companies and with international clients remotely. If you need custom software — not a template — this is what I do.
I work across the whole product lifecycle: from deciding how the data is modelled to leaving the application running in production. These are the four areas most of my projects fall into.
Custom business applications with Laravel and Node.js: admin dashboards, subscription systems, private areas and APIs.
Cross-platform apps with Flutter — one codebase for Android and iOS, store publishing included.
Chatbots, document processing with language models, and n8n automations wired into the systems you already run.
Connecting your product to third-party services: payment gateways, carriers, ERPs or any API you need to consume.
Serbia has become one of Eastern Europe's reference software development hubs, and for good reason: solid technical talent at a noticeably lower cost than Western Europe. Belgrade sits in UTC+1 — the same zone as Madrid, Paris, Berlin or Rome — so working with me involves no scheduling gymnastics if your company is in Europe. For Latin America and the US East Coast, my mornings overlap with the start of your working day.
Unlike an agency, there are no layers in between: you talk directly to the person writing the code. That means quotes without overhead margins, and technical decisions explained in plain language rather than jargon.
The best way to judge a developer is to see what they've built and why they made each decision. Here are some detailed case studies:
Both. I live in Belgrade, so for companies in the city we can meet in person to kick off the project. Most of my work is done remotely, with clients across different time zones.
Custom web applications and SaaS platforms, cross-platform mobile apps with Flutter, third-party API integrations, and AI automation such as chatbots or document processing with language models.
It depends entirely on scope, so be wary of anyone quoting a figure before hearing you out. My approach is an initial no-obligation conversation to understand what you need, followed by a proposal with fixed scope and budget.
I work in English and Spanish, both in meetings and in the project's technical documentation.
Yes. A good share of my projects are for international clients. I'm in the UTC+1 time zone, which overlaps well with all of Europe and with mornings in the Americas.
Send me a description of your project, however brief. You'll get an honest assessment of whether I can help and what it would take to get it done.
